Seasonal Shipping Schedule

Because our body butters are sensitive to high temperatures, The Body Butters does not ship direct-to-consumer orders during the summer months.

Our annual shipping pause runs from:

June 1 through September 30

Direct-to-consumer shipping resumes on October 1.

During this seasonal pause:

• Online retail orders will not be accepted or shipped.

• Customers may purchase through an authorized local retailer, subject to availability.

• Approved wholesale orders may continue to be accepted.

• Wholesale orders are subject to separate processing times, shipping arrangements and minimum-order requirements.

Order Processing

When direct-to-consumer shipping is open, orders are typically processed within 2 business days. Business days do not include weekends or federal holidays.

Processing may take longer during:

• Product launches

• Major promotions

• Holidays

• Periods of unusually high order volume

• Extreme weather conditions

Shipping time begins after the order has been processed—not when the order is placed.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the destination, selected shipping method and package weight.

Estimated transit times:

• Standard shipping: 3–6 business days 

Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Carrier delays may occur after a package leaves our facility.

Temperature-Sensitive Products

Body butter may soften during transit when temperatures are warmer than expected. A softened product is not necessarily damaged or unsafe to use.

If your body butter arrives softened:

1. Keep the container upright.

2. Place it in a cool, dry location or refrigerator until it firms.

3. Allow it to return to room temperature before regular use.

The product’s texture may change after exposure to heat, but this generally does not affect its moisturizing properties.

Heat-related softening or texture changes are not eligible for a refund or replacement unless the product is otherwise damaged, defective or unusable.

Tracking Information

A shipping-confirmation email containing tracking information will be sent after your order ships. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking updates to appear.

Address Changes

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.

Contact us at [support email] immediately if a correction is needed. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order enters processing.

If an order is returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address, the customer may be responsible for the additional cost of reshipping it.

Delayed Orders

If we cannot ship within the timeframe promised at checkout, we will notify you and provide a revised shipment date. You may accept the delay or cancel the affected order for a refund.

The seasonal shipping pause described above will be disclosed before checkout. Orders placed before the pause are subject to the processing and shipping timeframe displayed when the order is submitted.

Lost, Stolen or Misdelivered Packages

If tracking shows an unusual delay, contact us at info@thebodybutters.com.

If tracking states that a package was delivered but you cannot locate it:

1. Confirm the shipping address on your order.

2. Check all areas around the delivery location.

3. Ask household members, neighbors or building staff.

4. Allow one business day for a premature delivery scan.

5. Contact the shipping carrier.

6. Contact our support team if the package remains missing.

The Body Butters is not automatically responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery. However, we will provide reasonable assistance with an available carrier claim.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Contact us within 3 days of delivery if your order arrives damaged or incorrect.

Please include:

• Your order number

• A description of the issue

• Photographs of the affected product

• Photographs of the shipping container

• A photograph of the shipping label

Keep the products and all shipping materials until the claim has been resolved.

Wholesale Shipping

Wholesale ordering remains available to approved retail partners during the seasonal direct-to-consumer pause.

Wholesale orders are governed by separate terms covering:

• Minimum order quantities

• Production and processing times

• Shipping arrangements

• Heat-related shipping risks

• Damaged merchandise

• Payment requirements

Becoming an approved retailer does not guarantee immediate product availability.

International Shipping

International shipping is available for $45, customers are responsible for applicable customs duties, taxes and import fees. Customs processing and delays are outside our control.
